The Barking Kudu in Birmingham, Alabama's Lakeview Entertainment District is Lakeview's premiere Live Music venue. Featuring local and national acts that keep the place packed with party-goers and music fans alike.

On any given night, The Barking Kudu is filled with several hundred of Birmingham's music lovers. With an incredible sound system, gorgeous decor, and a staff that will take care of you with a smile, The Barking Kudu is a great place to hang out with your friends.

When you drive up to the Barking Kudu off 7th Avenue South, You immediately notice the giant Monolith outside with the Barking Kudu logo emblazoned upon it. As you walk up, the main patio is filled with groups of people enjoying a respite from the crowd inside and having a few drinks. The waitresses come around for orders and its a very relaxed environment. During the cold winter, the patio area is enclosed and kept warm and is a great spot to relax.

Through the main doors, there is a long bar along the righthand wall extending the length of the room. This bar is always filled with people and there are TV's above the bar showcasing the latest sporting events while you get your drinks from some of Birmingham's best bartenders.

Heading into the back stage area is a large stage on your left and tables filled with people all around the room. The large bar in the right hand corner is stacked deep with people ordering drinks while listening to the great bands they have on stage. You can catch some amazing bands at the Barking Kudu and you won't be disappointed.
